This thoughtfully designed bag features two separate compartments, making it easy to organize your everyday essentials. The main compartment also includes an interior pocket for added organization. Inside, the bag is beautifully lined with reclaimed corte fabric—the traditional skirt textile worn by Indigenous women in Guatemala—giving each piece a unique, meaningful touch.

Each Izel Crossbody is ethically handcrafted in collaboration with a local Guatemalan leather artisan, ensuring quality craftsmanship and fair employment practices.

The name “Izel” is a variant of Itzel, derived from Ixchel—the Mayan goddess of the moon, earth, and medicine, symbolizing strength, healing, and feminine power.

This unique huipil and corte was sustainably sourced from our artisan partner Don Edgar. The leather body is beautifully hand-crafted by Don Fernando using top-grade leather.
