Meet Alejandra

Bienvenidos a nuestra tienda! Welcome to our shop!

I would like to share a bit about me. I am a proud product of two Guatemalan immigrants, who came to the United States in search of a better life. I created Tipico Tico, in order to share colorful tesoros (treasures) with the world, in honor of my father, Tico. He is the one who inspired our mission, through his acts of kindness by always giving back to his community and celebrating his culture.

Tipico Tico also serves an an empowering platform for myself and my daughters. Instilling in them the confidence that everything is within reach. Please take a moment to look at our fun merchandise and experience the world in color.

Meet Natalia

Hi! I’m so happy that you’ve stumbled upon our shop. A little bit about me, I am a Graphic Design and Photography graduate from San Jose State University. I found a deep passion for the arts since I was in elementary school and decided to make it my life long career while in high school.

After traveling through Latin American, I saw an opportunity for us to help the people in need. We decided on building Tipico Tico in order to help the rural communities in Guatemala. In doing so, by growing their local economy and by donating clothes and school supplies, with the help of our lovely neighbors. Your purchase not only supports the artisan and their craft but their family as well.
